In the mid 70’s a single Cabinetmaker started up on his own in a rented shed behind a home near the jetty.
As
a result of his excellent work the business expanded and he acquired a
partner. Continued success saw them compete with the larger
kitchen company in Coffs Harbour and in the early 80’s they expanded
their business into Grafton with a commissioned agent operating their
showroom.
In 1984 before “Sea Change’ became
fashionable, Peter and Deb left successful careers in Canberra to
start a new life as the new owners of East Coast Cabinets which then
boasted a manager, three tradesmen and a junior assistant. In the
last 25 years East Coast Cabinets has grown to be one of the leading
Detailed Joineries on the Mid North Coast winning major prizes for our
outstanding designs, displays and delivery of service.
At East Coast Cabinets we are actively involved in and support Community Service.
